That trunk of birds has gone and I am so glad. I can relax a little bit. There are still some out there in what my people call "kits" but they don't look like birds to me. At least they are secure inside plastic bags so they can't get out. Things have quieted down some since all those strange people were here that day called "Halloween." I don't know what all the fuss is about. My fur coat works just fine all year long.
My furless mom is still here and I really enjoy her company. I hope she stays for awhile now. She tells me that she has 2 cats in her other home. She says that the older cat, "Smooch," puts her favorite toy away in her food bowl every night so she knows where it is the next morning and I should put my toys away. Smooch must be a dumb cat. I know where all my toys are all the time except when one of my admirers picks one up. I think I'll go check on my toys.

SHE'S HERE!!!
My furless mom is here. She came to visit me on Sunday and she's been here since. Boy, things are hopping. The phones are ringing, the classroom is buzzing and the fabric is flying. Monday was something these humans called "Halloween." It was a little scary for me because all my substitute moms came to work looking VERY strange. I knew who they were by their smell. They even tied something floppy around my neck. That felt very strange and I didn't much like it. I was so glad when they finally took it off. I can't keep up with all the activity and watch those birds too. I will have to go take a nap in the front window.

YIPPEE!!!
My furless mom has sent a message that she is coming for a visit. I can hardly wait. She always loves me up every morning and night. I get to sit on her desk and help her work. Boy, have I got a lot to tell her. There are more birds in the store. They don't seem to be moving much either, at least when I'm watching. Someone said that humans have been invited to bring in quilts with birds on them for a free gift. I'm a little worried. It's hard enough to keep an eye on all these birds now without more in the store. I'll do my best. I heard another strange thing last week. I heard my substitute moms talking about a "trunk show." I have been watching for trunks to be delivered, but so far all I've seen are these birds. I hope they don't mean trunks full of birds. I'll ask my furless mom as soon as I see her.

More Birds Coming
Well, those birds I've been watching haven't moved at all. I think they are afraid to move as long as I'm minding the store. All is safe with me on the job. There is just one thing. I keep hearing my human ladies talking about something called "Home, Tweet, Home." Does that sound like more birds or what? I promise not to let down my guard. Meanwhile, there are 3 of my little kitten friends who live outside the back door. They don't have any humans to love them or take care of them. One is an orange tiger and two are calicos. If you know off any humans who would like to be adored by a warm, furry bundle, let me know. Guess I'd better check on those birds again.

Furless Mom Visits
YIPPEE!!! My furless mom came and stayed 2 weeks! I was sooo glad to see her. It seems like a long time since the last time she was here. She lets me climb up into her chair and lay in her lap when she plays with the box that has all the little funny buttons on it. She says she's working and I have to be real still. It's OK because I just purr. One strang thing happened though. After she left someone hung up something called a "quilt" in our classroom that has BIRDS on it. I want everyone to know that I am watching those birds carefully. If one of them moves, I promise to take care of it.

Busy, Busy
I have been so vurry busy hostessing and entertaining all the wonderful people who visit me that I haven't had time to write. Besides that my furless mom has been so busy too that I haven't been able to catch her to operate the little buttons that make the frog, sorry, blog. If you don't know yet, I have a number of substitute moms who take care of me when my furless mom can't. One day my substitute-mom Carol brought me a special treat. This one wasn't to eat, it was to smell. She called it "catnip." No, it didn't nip me, but it smelled so-o-o-o go-o-od. It smelled so good that I wanted it all over me. After I rolled around in it, I felt wonderful. She told me that I did lots of acrobatics. I don't remember. I hope I didn't make a complete fool of myself. I'm supposed to act like a lady all the time.

MANY MEOWS
Many "thank you" meows to all the great people who came to see me that day of the big sale. You all made me so happy that I had to take a long nap. I think I've recovered now so I'm writing all my thank you notes. My furless Mom would not let me type on those funny little blocks with letters and numbers on them since I did it the last time. It made purfect sense to me but she didn't like it at all. Mom saw a new game for me this week called "Games for Cats.com." If anyone out there has it would you write and tell me. Mom says it's only on another people toy called an "ipad" and she doesn't have one. I would really like a new toy. The ones I have are so-o-o-o old.

Hello and Meow
My furless Mom told me that her website (what ever that is) got a low grade because it didn't have a Blog. I thought she said "frog" and I tried to find one in the store. Then she explained that I needed to say hello to all my fans out there in computer land. That's easier than finding a frog. So I will try to keep you up to date on all my activities. I am so excited about the sale tomorrow. That means that I will get to see lots of people. Please come see me and say hello back.
